Directions:

From the Robin Hood island on the A339 take the B4009 towards Hermitage,

At the first mini island turn right into Kiln Road,

Travel along Kiln Road and up the hill,

once over the brow, Stoney Lane is the first road on the left.

The road layout is being changed, and the 30 mph signs have recently moved further out.

Drive out of the urban area and after about 100m there is a house with railings on the left, we are the next house and look for our layby on the left, opposite the small 30 repeater sign.

If you get to the de-resitriction signs you have gone too far.
